How to listen

News

We discuss CTIA generally a bit - plus later in the TreoCast we discuss our interview with Opera CEO Jon von Tetzchner. We also go over the best of CTIA:

  1. CTIA: Palm to update 750 to WM6 - Coming "soon." We talk about the expected price (free?) and guess at a release date.
  2. CTIA: New Palm Accessories - New Bury car cradles.
  3. CTIA: Software: Pinger, Simulscribe, Nuance, and Yahoo Go - We discuss our favorite software featured at CTIA.
  4. SlingPlayer Beta for PalmOS - Harv has a full review - it works great even in Beta.
  5. Treo FIESTA - host a Treo-themed house party on Cinco de Mayo.

Accessories

Seidio multifunction battery charger - a neat little battery charger that plugs directly into the wall and allows you to charge both a battery and the Treo.

Jabra JX-10 Case - a Bluetooth headset case to conveniently hold your JX-10.

Coming Soon: EMTAC mini-S3 Bluetooth GPS Receiver. The mini-S3 is a great little SIRF-III receiver that seems to pick up GPS signal very quick. It should be in the TreoCentral Store within a week.

Community

  1. Garmin Software Thoughts - Reviews of the latest entry into the Treo-GPS field.
  2. Deepfish Reviews - some initial looks at Microsoft's innovative new browser, in limited Beta.
  3. Golden Carbon Skin for 680 - a hack to skin the Treo 680's phone app! Check out this big, great screenshot from kerunt:
