Would you recommend Speck SkinTight case ?

    Yes   No

    Thumbs Up

Wonder if the clear one is any better.
Not a bad design, if it did not stretch. Hole drilled for beaming. Plastic protector could be more sturdy as it breaks on the bottom. I returned mine to staples for an exchange. Lasted two months of service. Forget holster.

    Best case out there.

Does not stand the test of time
Take the device in and out of the case a few times and the case loosens up quite a bit. My treo is sliding freely inside the case now. It was a nice case while it lasted but the loose feel is kind of annoying.

    Thumbs Down

Very nice for the first couple of months
And then, as mentioned, it streches out, mainly due to reboots and accessing the SD card. I really liked it at first but now it's useless.

    Protects Yes, Lasts No
My Speck SkinTight sits in the drawer. Too much dirt & dust collected in between Treo & the covering. The belt clip broke. The silicone rubber itself stretched, making an imperfect fit as original. The small area around stylus eventually thinned and broke to constant retrieval of of stylus. I returned to using a leather holster case that came with Treo. I'm more careful using it openly on hard surfaces. And, of course, nothing (yet) will protect the Treo from accidentally getting wet. Save your money till the ultimate protector comes along.

If you need to reset your phone still a problem.
I had the case for the 650. One obvious problem is I had difficulty taking case off and on to reset the Treo which requires you to take of the battery cover. And of course the most obvious problem mentioned in the most latest review for the 700p or w is you have to take off the case to use IR/beam someone or remove/replace an SD card. The last problem I had with my last speck case is it got stretched out of shape because I had to take it off to deal with the above items on the phone.

    Thumbs Down

    Disappointing, but not all bad.
I cut out the IR hole in my case, and it works fine. (I used a hole punch to do the job... might do it to the SD card slot area too.) However, I really, really hate the holster... it is almost impossible to answer a call without it going to voice mail and putting the device back in the holster is a two-hand job most times because of the clunky design. I also do not like having my buttons covered by the rubbery material, and I sometimes find myself forgetting which buttons are which because there is no sort of iconography or labeling on the exterior of the material to identify the buttons. It is a pretty cool case, but I doubt I will carry it when I am away from the home or office because the holster really stinks. I may just spend the money and buy one of the more expensive leather form fitting cases instead.
