Very disappointed |
I ordered the bundle and had it shipped overnight as I was excited to use this product. When it arrived the GPS receiver was fully charged so I turned it on and to my amazement I could not get a single satellite signal. What is worse, when I ran the software that comes with the bundle it would not even recognize the GPS receiver and all I got was a communications error. I then tried to use my previously installed Mapopolis software and I was able to pair up the receiver with my Palm but again no satellite reception. Once I was able to get passed the pairing with the bundled software with the receiver by selecting no receiver I tried the software only to be more amazed at how poorly it worked. I would select an address from my contacts database and nothing at all would happen.
Do not spend your money on this as I found it to be quite useless.
