Well, here's some good news for all you Treo 650 owners who have an exchange server or want to get one. Remember back in January when Palm announced the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Update on Palm OS devices for the Treo 680 and Treo 700p smartphones?

Now this udpate is available for Treo 650 smartphones too. If you want to update your device, head on over to Palm’s Software Connection site to purchase Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync software for $2.99.

This software download requires VersaMail 3.5.. Mac users can download here. If you don't already have it on your Treo 650, it can be purchased separately with the Exchange ActiveSync Update for $12.98.

So now Treo 650 users will also have Direct Push Technology giving them fast, automatic wireless updates of email, calendar and contact information.
