 While Sprint gives unlimited data usage most GPRS providers don't, so it is important that users know exactly how much they are using. Hexlet LLC, released TrafficStat 2.0 today.
From their site:
"With TrafficStat you can analyze your GPRS usage and select most cost-efficient plan. You can see usage by any time period. Also if you are using several different connection types (for example GPRS and CSD Dialup) TrafficStat allows you to see statistic per connection, as well as total usage numbers.
TrafficStat should work with any PalmOS based device (version 3.5 and up) and with any connection type. For example Handspring Treo 270, 180, 300 with wireless connection, Palm V with PPP over infrared or serial, Kyocera QCP smartphone should work just fine. "
As you can see in the image, it not only collects the data, it graphs it out for you to visually see your usage patterns. TrafficStat 2.0 is $9.99. A demo is available.
