RSS Feed

Mon Jul 5, 2004 - 11:48 PM EDT - By Michael Ducker

I am not sure how many TreoCentral readers use XML feeds, such as RSS or ATOM, but I recently spent the thirty minutes to setup NetNewsWire to check the forty sites I read daily, and I am amazed at the time it has saved me. RSS is a format for syndicating news headlines across the web. It allows other websites to display your latest news or blogs, and more importantly it is a technology that allows for users to check all of their websites for updates in one click using reader software.

It is with this new-found respect for RSS that I am pleased to announce that TreoCentral now has an RSS feed (v0.91) of the frontpage stories: http://www.treocentral.com/rss.php.

Discussion, and information on how to make your own customized Discussion RSS feeds can be found here.
