Hobbyist Software Updates

Tue Jul 13, 2004 - 5:19 PM EDT - By Michael Ducker

TreoCentral user, confusedvorlon, founder of Hobbyist Software, and author of three popular Treo utilities posted updates to Butler (an all around Treo utility), Phone Technician (A Treo radio control utility), and Arrow Launcher (a keyboard based launcher) today.

The Changelog:

Arrow Launcher
Option to disable keyguard when you launch arrowlauncher
Option not to re-launch AL from launcher.
- this stops the AL launch key from working until you have changed application after leaving AL. This means if you use the home key to launch, you can press again to go to your launcher, then use home to switch categories - a few people have asked for something like this!

Phone Technician
LED now plays nicely with butler LED setting
Conflicts with base ringer vibrate and tones should be fixed
Other minor fixes

Butler
New API added that allows the integration above

(If you are a developer who has recently launched or updated Treo related software, make sure to drop me a note at [email protected], so that I may post a news item to hte Treo community)
