Treo Mail Goes Gold

Handspring released the final version of Treo Mail today.

Treo Mail is a service that enables the Treo to have "always-on" wireless email. It works by automatically connecting your Treo to your ISP, downloading the latest mail, and than logging off. It can check mail as often as every 30 minutes. For a full description see this page.

Treo Mail is available in Corporate Desktop Edition for use with Microsoft Outlook/Exchange or POP 3 email accounts located behind a corporate firewall. Internet Edition is available for use with Internet-accessible email accounts.

Corporate Desktop Edition is available for $99.99 a year, and Internet Edition is available for $49.99 a year. A free 30 day trial is offered.
