Colligan interview in NYT

Sun Dec 11, 2005 - 7:00 PM EST - By James Hromadka

Interesting read

The New York Times has posted an extended interview with Palm CEO Ed Colligan. The interview discusses potential implications for Palm in light of Blackberry maker RIM's patent woes, open source, the iPod as a competitor, and a little about the future of Palm. I was impressed that Colligan feels that some people will want an all-in-one device and some will want multiple smaller devices to handle music and phone abilities. My mother would never use a Treo, but my father wants one "as soon as they get rid of the antenna" because of its data and synchronization abilities.

You can discuss the interview here.
