Palm starts taking 700p orders
 Palm is now taking orders for the 700p. The Sprint version will ship within one week and Verizon Wireless devices within 3 - 4 weeks.
With a new plan activation, the Verizon Treo 700p sells for $399 with a 2 yr agreement and an unlimited data plan. The Sprint 700p also sells for $399 with a 2 year agreement, after a $100 instant rebate and a $150 Sprint service credit.
If you are adding the 700p to an existing plan, the Sprint device will cost you $649 and the Verizon device $619.
Verizon is also selling the 700p directly on their website.
