They absolutely work as advertised and look as good as they work. The no-electronics and battery-free operation of these two marvels means you'll never have to carry around spare batteries or chargers. I made dozens of calls with both theBoom models with my Treo 650 and my new 700p and performance was identical with both models of theBoom on both Treos. I also plugged them into my cordless home phone which has a 2.5mm headset jack and they worked fine with that "normal" phone too. Choose the style you prefer – the more compact earhook and gel style theBoom, or the headband style theBoom "O". Functionally identical, ergonomically different. I hate to slather on superlatives like frosting on a birthday cake, but I was just totally knocked out by these headsets. UmeVoice delivers what they promise, and what more is there to say?
