Not long after Nokia purchased IntelliSync last year, IntelliSync purchased PDAapps. And now, PDAapps has posted a message on its website stating that Nokia has discontinued selling their line of Palm OS applications.
VeriChat (Review) was the first discontinued application listed on the PDAapps website. Many people will be disappointed to learn that their favorite IM program is no longer for sale.
The message below was stated at the bottom of the PDAapps website:
"Nokia will discontinue support for these products, except Verichat, on December 15th 2006."
Other discontinued PDAapps applications include TreoPictureCallerID, TreoAlertMgr, MarknDial, and KBTracker.
