New Initiate Skin Now Out

Hobbyist Software has released a new Initiate skin. Please note that you'll need the latest Initiate Beta to view this properly.

It's called Samurai and it's by Rich Kendrick. It keeps the buttons to the minimum with only favourites, update and autolaunch (you can still access all features through tap&hold, or via the menu). I think it is really stylish!

Plus, Rich submitted a great set of Japanese-themed backgrounds which are now up at the Initiate background page.

It turns out that my notification system for newly arrived backgrounds was broken, so I just found a backlog of great images which are now approved. You just have to launch the shortcut to toggle the speakerphone. The best way to do that (without exiting your current app) is to assign it to a keylaunch key using Butler. Just press and hold the keylaunch key and your speaker will turn on (or off!).
