Free DVD Player with Treo purchase

Tue Nov 12, 2002 - 10:21 AM EST - By Michael Ducker, Marcus Adolfsson

The holiday deals have started arriving!

TreoCentral user JRdogg reported last week in this post that with the purchase of the Treo over the phone (1-888-565-9393), Handspring would throw in a free DVD player.

Handspring this morning also expanded this offer to the web, but so far only as a special sneak preview for e-newsletter subscribers. The offer will be available to the public in one week. But don't worry, anyone with that uses the link above can get in on the promotion.

The included DVD player is an Apex AD 1500/1600 DVD (a $109.99 value). Features include slow and fast forward, two levels of zoom, frame-by-frame advance, parental controls and more. Even plays SVCD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3s. Remote control included.

Terms and Conditions

This offer is available for a limited time and is subject to withdrawal at any time. This offer is available only for direct purchases from Handspring.com and cannot be combined with any other Handspring offer, promotion or rebate. Returns must be in compliance with Handsprings return policies and must include both the Treo product purchased (Treo 90, Treo 270, or Treo 300) and the DVD player in order to receive full credit. Allowable returns without the DVD player will be credited the price of the applicable Treo product minus $109.99. This offer is not available for Treo 270 and/or Treo 300 ordered for shipment to Canada. DVD player is either the Apex AD-1500 or the Apex AD-1600.
