Our sister site CrackBerry.com is having a fun contest called "What Would Would You Do for a BlackBerry Storm?" The contest title pretty much tells you what is involved. People had to prove how bad they wanted a BlackBerry Storm. The top ten craziest entries that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are one of the biggest BlackBerry Addicts out there would be deserving of a FREE BlackBerry Storm!

Kevin chose those ten top entries from 3,000. Those people had to send in a video or photo doing something crazy to prove how bad they wanted a Storm. The first person picked had a tattoo of a BlackBerry Storm inked on his leg!

The second person sawed his Treo in half! Here's what Michael (mad-dog74) of West Virginia had to say:

I want a Storm SO bad (and am convinced that I would LOVE a BlackBerry) that I would cut my Treo in half with a reciprocating saw. Then I would drill a hole in each half, zip tie them together, with a tag that says "No Longer Needed by this CrackBerry Addict". I would then mail it to PALM's corporate office. I'll even submit the tracking number so delivery can be proved. I want a Storm so bad that I actually dreamed about it last night!

I must say that was mighty painful to watch! Poor Treo! I wonder what in the world the person who opens that box at Palm's corporate office is going to think? I must admit that is some brand loyalty there. I love Palm smartphones, but I don't think that I could saw a BlackBerry in half to get one.
