WMExperts got some slides from a Sprint document via an anonymous tipster. The slides detail the specs and functionality on the Treo Pro and include some head-to-head comparisons against Sprint's other smartphone offerings.According to WMExperts guest poster Gabriel, there is some new information there too, including the processor speed and storage. The processor speed is reported to be a zippy 528 mhz processor. Gabriel says:
Despite the faster processor there have been some early reports that the Pro still isn't as snappy as it's kid brother, the 800w. On the other hand, the slides make a point that the A-GPS is both "Assisted" and "Autonomous," meaning it will work without connection to Sprint's network -- a situation that's been dicey at best, impossible at worst with the 800w.
The RAM is reported to be 512 storage, 32MB RAM. This is rather confusing since we've seen other storage numbers reported:
Let's hope that the storage listed in the slides at WMExperts aren't the correct numbers. I guess we'll find out what the actual storage is when the Sprint Treo Pro is actually released.
Head over to WMExperts to read the full article and to see the gallery of slides.
