Harry McCracken of Technologizer.com has stepped up to try to calm things down in the world of Palm before webOS. in his post, he shows how you can find the Palm Treo Pro and the Palm Centro... By doing a Google search.
According to McCracken, "Palm hasn't completely excised the Treo Pro from its Web site. It just removed the navigational links that help you find it. Google for "Treo Pro," and the first link you get is to a page on Palm's site where the Pro is apparently still for sale."
Find the Treo Pro here.
Find the Palm Centro here.
Yes, it seems that Google can find anything.
To actually purchase a Centro, he suggests you go to Sprint's site, but remarks,"I'm prepared to accept the possibility that Palm has stopped making the things and Sprint is blowing out the final production run, but it's sort of endearing to see a Palm OS phone out there in the iPhone/Android/WebOS era. At least for a little while longer. And even though I don't recommend buying it unless you really like the Palm OS, and maybe not even then..."
Note that Sprint is also showing the Treo 755p and the Treo Pro.
