DigiTimes recently published an interesting interview with David Nagel, President of PalmSource. The interview covered a wide range of topics, from Palm's future in Asia, to Palm's 300,000 developers. An interesting note from the interview; David Nagel has 25,000 phone numbers on his Treo 600. Another interesting answer was regarding the Blackberry.
"A: We recently signed an agreement with Blackberry RIM to develop an e-mail client that is compatible with both Blackberry and Palm OS products. Blackberry has created the Blackberry Connect stack, which can connect with Blackberry servers. On our side, we are creating a compatible e-mail client. We are now in the late stages of development, and we showed an Alpha version of this client at a RIM conference earlier this year. We think there is significant demand for this kind of Palm OS application on smartphones and other devices."
