Conclusion

The author is a fan of TreoCentral and states "TreoCentral is the de facto web site for Treo users...Equipment is fairly (and sometimes brutally) reviewed... Alas, that is the case here as well. I must be brutal and say The Treo Fan Book is certainly not for fans as it is too simple. It is not for anyone who has been using a 600 for more than a few weeks because they can easily learn the basics from the manual. And, it is next to useless for 650 owners because it covers none of the new features and does not have screenshots of the latest and greatest Treo.

I can think of one use for the Treo Fan Book. If youre giving your Treo 600 on a grateful relative who is new to the world of PDAs and Smartphones, toss in a copy and theyll probably thank you. For the rest of us, there are much better guides out there such as Now You Know Treo. If you are in the market for a handbook for the Treo, Now You Know Treo is your best bet.
