Last weekend, I went on a camping trip with some friends at my family's farm. There is no better time for camping in Texas than in Spring—the humidity is low, there is usually a nice breeze blowing through, and the weather in general is just great. Saturday was a typical day of nonpredictable weather. During the day, we relaxed on a sandbar at the Colorado River; that night, thunderstorms tore through the area, and high winds made us all wonder if our tents would make it through the night.
Today is Good Friday, and I spent part of it fishing with my Dad at an area lake near the farm. On a day like today, when the bass are striking and the weather is good, you want to share that experience with those who could not be with you. So I took the picture shown here and sent it to my brother in Colorado and my sister in Houston and let them know that I was thinking of them (and to rub it in that I was fishing while they were at work). Although the rest of my family do not have Treos, we regularly send pictures to each other. I love the spontaneity that a camera phone brings. I also did some testing for a review of the OtterBox 1900, which lets you take the Treo practically anywhere.
