AOL Sync for Treo

AOL has released "AOL Sync for Treo" which allows for over-the-air synchronization of AOL Address Book and AOL Calendar directly into the Treo's native Contact and Calendar applications.

The application works on both Treo 600 and 650, and has a 30-day free evaluation period. To continue use after 30-day period, there is a one-time, lifetime license for $25.00.

Key features include:

Calendar

  • Capability to sync multiple/shared calendars and Reminders
  • Capability to sync a defined date range

Address Book

  • Capability to sync all contacts with at least a first or last name and phone number or email address up to device capacity
  • Auto-Save
  • You can save your screen name and password by creating your AOL� Profile in the sync client.
  • Supports Passcode subscribers

General

  • AOL member data will inherit the Palm application's native functionality (e.g. A synched AOL contact with a phone number can be directly dialed from a menu selection)
  • Mobile synchronization using SyncML standard (both 1.0.1 and 1.1.1)
  • Supports Palm OS� devices starting with Palm OS 3.5 and 4Meg of RAM.
  • Requires a carrier's data plan (via mobile phone)
  • Completely independent of HotSync� application (you can use HotSync application in parallel with SyncML without any problems)
  • Free evaluation during 30 days without registration
  • Purchase allows unlimited use
  • Free updates for registered users
