It is a given that a small color device needs a good rechargeable battery. The Treo 90 has a Lithium Ion battery that appears to fit the job with an estimated 10 day lifetime. In my testing I found that when used lightly with frequent SD card writes, it lasted about a week. This battery has a remarkably fast charge time. Going from 0 to full took me less than an hour each time that I have done it. The charging status is indicated through the LED on the charging button. Blinking green means that it is charging, Solid green means that it is charged. The LED can also be used as a silent alarm.
The Treo 90 has an IR port on top, and the reset hole is on the bottom back of the device. Handspring also changed their screw type from Phillips head; perhaps to discourage curious people from taking a peek inside. The Hot sync connector is the same as other Treos and will work with all Treo cable/power accessories. It comes standard with 16 MB of memory.
