Leno uses Treo in joke on Tonight Show
Last night on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno about 13 minutes into the show Jay had a segment dealing with strange products found in "The Duller Image" catalogue. These products were supposed to be funny obscure things that poked fun at various real products. Such as a scale that literally tells you when you are fat.
One of the products in The Duller Image catalog was a Treo 180. The strange thing about it was that it had a rectal thermometer built into the stylus sheath. The following is a quote from Jay:
"You know the Sharper Image people have a combination cell phone and Palm Pilot. The Duller Image has done one further. It is a cell phone, a Palm Pilot and its also a rectal thermometer. You can call your doctor and say
Hang on let me take my temperature" I think you can guess the rest.
Lets hope that Handspring wont be developing this into the next version of the Treo. And congratulations for making it into latenight television.
