Handango redesigned
Handango, one of two major mobile software download sites on the web (PalmGear is the other), launched a new design for their 5th anniversary. A message posted by their CEO explains the general concepts behind the redesign, and a complete overview is also available.
"Based on your comments and requests, we've redesigned our site. So, what does this mean for you? Several things. Most importantly, the site is easier and faster to use. You can now browse, search and shop based on the device you own. It doesn't get any easier than that.
We hope you like the new Handango and will keep coming back for years. A few new features (besides the obvious new look) include:
- Targeted content specific for your mobile device
- Improved, fly-out navigation menus
- Souped up search engine
- Better member account integration
- New payment methods
