The TreoCentral discussion forums are now back online. We have loaded a backup from 3 AM, August 17th of the discussion forums onto a new temporary server. Last night a hard drive in our discussion server died. As we normally only make nightly backups, we have lost one day of posts.

Over the next few days we will be moving the entire site onto a new, much more stable system, at a different hosting company. The discussion boards will be slow until we do the move, as the temporary server has only an AMD Duron. However, our new servers are going to be screaming fast. We will have a load balanced and fail safe three server (Dual Xeon 2.8Ghz, 2GB Ram, RAID 5) solution at The Planet.
