Palm puts Americas sales VP in charge of worldwide sales
Merry Christmas for Hartnett
Palm announced today that John Hartnett has been promoted to senior vice president of worldwide sales and customer relations. Hartnett reports to Ed Colligan, Palm president and chief executive officer. Hartnett formerly was the senior vice president of Americas sales and support.
"John's leadership and success in the Americas gives me great confidence in his ability to expand Palm's market share worldwide," said Colligan. "We've had tremendous success growing Treo smartphone sales in the United States, and we see substantial opportunities for success in Europe and Asia as well."
