SanDisk Ultra II+ SD Card

Sun Feb 5, 2006 - 12:16 PM EST - By Harv Laser

Two major U.S. magazines recognized the Ultra II SD Plus card. Laptop Magazine, in its February 2006 issue, gave the card an Editor’s Choice Award and a 4½-star rating. And the card was included in Popular Science magazine’s “100 Best Innovations of the Year” for 2005. SanDisk received the award from Popular Science at the January, 2006 CES. The editors’ top products of the year were featured in the publication’s December issue. Also, the New York Times, in an article published December 29, selected this card as one of the “10 best gadget ideas of 2005.”

Thumbs up to SanDisk for this novel new type of SD card. It’s very fast, easy to use, comes in two high capacity models, and is just totally cool. I’d expect no less from the company who invented SD cards.
