Works well, earhook is weak |
I think the sound quality is fine and I also find it has a good range. I can leave my phone on my desk and walk into the lab, which is a over a hundred feet away and separated by two walls, and can still have a conversation.
Like many others who reviewed this product, though, I experienced a broken earhook shortly after buying the unit. Thanks to the reviewers here, I called Motorola and they shipped me out a replacement earhook kit, which includes 3 earhooks, for free.

I received a new Ear Hook for FREE |
I just followed the advice of the other people in this list and I am now waiting for my new ear hook to arrive. Since my headset is still new and under warranty they will send me one for free. I am so happy because I could not find a replacement ANYWHERE!

I would not recommend a H500 |
The fit is too loose and it falls off frequently. also I have to hit the answer button several tines to answer and end up hanging up on my calls. The sound quality is clear, but the other problems ruin the experience.

I can confirm that calling the Motorola service number worked well for me. They are sending 3 ear hooks within the next 7 business days no charge!

Love my H500 |
I use this bluetooth all day, everyday with a treo 650 and it works great. Earhook rubber wore out and Motto 1-866-buy-moto replaced it with TWO free hooks!!! Great customer service.

EAR CLIP/HOOK REPLACEMENTS |
My clip had broke from dropping, call 1.866.BUY.MOTO Option 7 and asked for a replacement, told them had bought it 2 months ago and DID NOT drop or abuse it (they ask!!) and Motorola sent me a replacement for FREE (free shipping too) within 7 business days. Just be cool with the customer service person and you WILL get a replacement for free.

weak earhook |
The earhook is very weak. It broke within a week and finally I lost the earhook. Now I can't even find a replacement for it. Can't wear it without the earhook so it's been sitting in my purse for 3 month!!!

A Treo 650 NONO! |
Bought this headset hopeing to have good results as I have a friend of mine that it works well for. This headset is NOT meant for the 650. It automatically answers calls(even if the option is turned off on the phone), and will not wake up from standby and reattach from standby.
