PDA part is OK - Phone function doesn't work after a month or two of use.
support several PDA phones... Treo 700W has majority of issues over the other types supported. Talking with Verizon Tech support - known problem - When on the talking to someone on the phone and another call comes thru and rolls into voicemail - you are disconnected from the current conversation. Also issues I've seen you can call out and hear the person on the other end, they cannot hear you. You receive a call and when you try to answer disconnects caller. You receive a call, if you succesfully answer you have to turn on speaker phone inorder for the party to hear you. Device 'locks up' often and have to reset . The phones worked great new but developed issuses within two months.

Treo 700w
The phone locks up constantly. It misses calls regularly and the reception/signal is not as strong as with conventional cell phones. A friend has the 700p and is much happier. Save your money and buy the Audiovox smartphone. Its better quality and much more reliable. I wish I had!

TREO = POS
Great on paper, SUCKS in reality. Has all the functions I want, yet I can't use them because the bloody thing locks up 3 times a day. I miss half my calls because it either doesn't ring, or it rings but the phone program forgets to work and I can't answer the stupid call. If you attempt to load any third party application, prepare to remove it and format your phone a week later. I have went through two phones already and I am looking for alternatives. Verizon people are clueless about this thing and Palm denies that there is even a problem. I don't think it's just Windows because the 700p users are complaining too. --WASTE OF MONEY, This thing shaved two years off of my natural life because of the stress it has caused me and the lost business at work.

Cannot beat Palm's interface..
Great phone! issues with ActiveSync from time to time, but overall, great apps, add-ons, functionality and ease of use. Cost a little more than most, but worth it..

Very poor operation as a phone
My phone is loaded with Good Software for email push technology and that works OK. But 30% of my calls get dropped. I have to reset the device 2x a day. A lot of times it dials out but doesn't connect the call. I hate it and if wasn't owned by the company I would throw it in the trash.

Locks up and acts stupid after several replacements
If you want a phone that truly acts retarded check out the 700W I am switching away from Verizon to Congular this week so I can go to the BB8800

Not Meant for Heavy Emailing
Have used a TREO 650 from Sprint - battery life was great considering I used to get over 20-25 emails per hour - MINIMUM. Now on the 750 - battery is dead within 4 hours with less than 10 emails per hour. Phone is good otherwise, but w/poor battery life, it just isn't worth it - looking to move to Blackberry 8800 or Pearl....

Its cute but problematic
problems with the touch screen, you have to disable so that you won't trigger it while talking on the phone. If you receive a telephone call while on another call it has a tendency to drop the call your on regardless of you ignoring or answering the incoming call.Active sync issues with the 700w not as fluid as with palm, if you have windows XP media center syncing is a little more complicated.

A piece of junk!
Truly the most expensive paper weight that I have ever purchased. It constantly locks up and misses calls. If I haven't received a call in a couple of hours, I check the screen and it is blank, so you have to take out the battery to reset it. Almost daily, I will bring up the screen and I will have several missed calls and voice mails without the phone ever ringing. It is NOT a coverage area issue, it is a piece of junk phone issue. I am going tomorrow to pay whatever I have to so I can unload this thing and get back to a Motorola phone.
