Stay with Treo 650 or even 600 |
NOT ready for PRIME TIME
Frequent crashes of phone
Drops calls, poor reception
Unsynchable--crashes 3of3 computers
Does not allow edits of powerpoints while Palm does
Poor customer/tech service
Escalating charges w/o increase svc

MUST USE UPDATER |
Just finished updating the Treo. Memory has vastly improved. For instance, before, running both IE and Win Media I would crash the treo out. Now? Over 10 mb of operation memory STILL available.

After the updater all is great |
Now that the update is installed the 700 is trully great. No resets needed. No more memory problems. It resets twice as fast and programs load faster.

Only if you are a Verizon customer |
not available as unlocked... not a smart move for non-verizon users not to mention world traveling.

Locks up several times a day |
Good features, but locks up way to much

Love it |
Had it for 3 weeks, and all the bugs have been worked out. Great item for the "regular guy" who wants a capable device. Most arguments against are by geeks looking for perfection. Wake up there is no such thing.

addictive, but not perfect |
I love the today screen where I can scan the day at a glance and access e-mail. The phone works well. I have had to soft-reset several times. I will look forward to upgrades to work out the kinks, but am certainly not parting with it in the meantime.

Buggy |
I am constantly having to do a soft reset because it will not power on or it comes on, but the backlight will not come on.
