Mobile Pants by Dockers

>> Read Review (Rating 4/5) <<

Military pilots have enjoyed multiple pockets in the legs of their flight suits for years, why cant we? Finally, we can. With Dockers Mobile Pants, carrying around those hi-tech devices has become much easier. Dockers has introduced these pants with two side pockets and an extra hidden zip vault pocket. These pants are great for organization and for the safety and security of your PDA, cell phone, or anything else you carry and want to protect.

Agreed, they're a good idea
I picked up a few pair and have found them to be quite useful. It didn't take the kids (8 + 6 yrs old) very long to find the zippers along the seams, but the zipper inside the right pocket was much harder for them to detect. They were having a great time since it reminded them of a recent "Candid Camera" stunt. Now that I've consolidated to the Treo, I no longer walk around looking like Batman with the Bat Belt :) If you can still locate a pair at JCPenney's clearance price of $10, they're an unbeatable deal.

Bought them, Love them
fine quality, decent price, especially at BX :-) Finally Dockers makes a product as usefull as my BDU pants but much more civilized.

Nice pants!
I bought a pair on each color when they were released... they're my favorite pair(s) of pants. Even if you don't carry many items, it's useful to separate the contents of your pockets - for instance, you can put your change in the zippered pocket and not have to worry about it falling out of your pants pocket when you sit down in an automobile. And, it's certainly easier to carry your PalmOS device of your choice in the pocket above your knee - beats wearing it on your belt (ie: the Batman utility belt look.)

I bought 3 pair
I would agree with the review about the pocket overlap and the depth of the seam pocket. There are 3 colors; black, khaki, and olive. I bought mine at Macy's for $40 (sale price). I found that my pockets tend to bulge more than the pictures in Kenneth's review, but I carry mroe items: VDX w/original plastic cover Nokia 8290 keys wallet Surefire E2 or E1 flashlight Arc-AAA LED light Spyderco Military Some other folding knife clipped to the right pocket Victorinox Manager Pen If I load up all the pockets, I get the bulges, but I usually keep the phone in a horizantal belt case for faster access and to make room. The knives and flashlights tend to clunk against other items becasue of the overlap. Still, I think that they're the best thing out there for a non-cargo pant look. p
