    Works on 650 on Cingular
650 will work just fine (some delays) on EDGE for Cingular though during network congestion there is a likehood of random disconnects. To minimize video problems use a host that will reduce screen resolution and colors. Be sure to use SSH or a VERY STRONG PASSWORD and cloak those ports - non-standard is the way to go. I've found PalmVNC best for Macs and for on-the-fly connections to clients. For XP and Windows Server 2003 I recommend RemotePlus because it uses the native encryption in Windows Remote Desktop/Terminal Server.

XS: I recall it exiting that way on a 650, but...
XS: I recall it exiting that way on a 650, but... The 700p is the objective platform for this review. I found the 650's net connection nearly impossible to use. Trust me on the exiting issue: On a 700p you can't just exit by tapping the home, or any other key, because of the way Palm modified the guts of the thing. Cheers, X|S

    Great Application
I've used Palm VNC on my 650 for almost a year now. The speed isn't as painful as the review makes it sound. Also, while in the app, all I do to exit is tap the home button and it exits fine without going to the network prefs menu first. When you tap the home button, it will ask if you want to disconnect from the web as well. Very handy app.
