Don't Do It
I bought the 750 back in May and had horrible connection. Cingular traded the phone 3 times thinking it was the phone. I finally gave up and went back to my 650. I just gave it another try and still the same problems. I notified Palm and they heard all the problems during our conversation, they state they have not heard of this problem. I again returned the phone and back to my 650. I would love to have the 750 but I guess I will wait for the next new version or go to Blackberry...YUCK!

Love it...but it doesn't ring??!! WTF!!
Upgraded about a month ago from a 650. I love the phone EXCEPT one BIG problem...it goes silent! Meaning no alerts, no ringing when a call comes in. It did this to me 3 times while waiting for a delayed flight in Phily on Saturday! I've tried all the fixes that Palm recommends, and it still does this, requiring a soft reset. I cannot understand why they're NOT addressing this HUGE problem. I mean if your cell phone doesn't ring when you have a call, what good is it??!!!

The phone is garbage
I purchased this phone for the activesync feature which I love but the phone sucks. It drops calls, has terrible call quality, the battery life is pathetic and after two replacements I have decided to take a hard look at a blackberry. This was a $400 waste of money.

Great Phone
So far; after 4 days; my 750 is head and shoulders better than my old 650. The interface takes some getting used too; since I was Palm OS kinda guy since the first Palm Pilot was introduced. However as a phone this thing runs rings around my 650.

Great device my favorite with a few flaws
I work for Microsoft in the Windows Mobile arena and have tried many devices, this is my favorite. Great one handed form factor, especially great if you have to sms in various languages as I often do. Feels good in the hand, excellent quality. I love the Windows Mobile operating system and-having played with WM6 for a bit-am anxious for the Treo 750 flavor to come out. Drawbacks - battery life is about a day and a half. I live with it because I love the Treo. Lacking - GPS, wifi and big megagig hard drive. Let's face it, they squeeze 30GB into an iPod, why can't they do it on a Treo? Imagine being able to take a nice movie collection with you on your next business trip AND have enough battery life to watch them. One of these days I hope we get this... If Treo gets their act together and can squeeze these into one package, I think this will be the one to beat hands down.

hated it
I am a realtor here in Fresno California and am contantly checking e-mails, instant messaging clients, and basically multi-tasking non stop...the 750 is not user friendly and basically i felt like i was taking a step back in time. The only good news was that the download speeds were awesome but the lack of convenience ruined it for me in less than one day...back to the 680 for me.

WiFi Woes & the Incredible Shrinking SD card
WiFi - saves me $480/yr. I don't have to buy someone's data plan. In my mind no WiFi is definitely driven by agreements with Cingular, Verizon, etc. Hotspots are all over. It's very easy to tailor my use as needed. I guess the end user customer is not as important as the business customer agreements. I hate to tie up the SD slot with a WiFi adapter card. Espescially when WiFi was standard on my old Tungsten C. I don't like being forced to use the mini-SD. I have lots of applications on SD. Now, if I want to use them I've got to transfer them to the mini SD card. Don't see the mini SD becoming the standard with the micro out there as well. It is definitely going to be awhile before this issue is resolved. I do like the Windows functionality over the Palm OS. It is very helpful in a multitasking environment.

Bad battery life
I really wanted to like this phone. I had a t600 a couple of years back and a blackberry in between. I am not crazy about windows mobile but more imporantly without even heavy use, my battery was completely dead by 4 pm. I went to the Cingular store for advice and they gave me a new battery to try with no help from that. So I will try the Blackjack now.
