Dumped the 680 |
I am a new Treo user. Got the 680 in December, but it was a buggy POS. I was within my 30 day trade-in window at Cingular, so I upgraded. I have to say, I am VERY HAPPY with the Windows platform on this phone. It's everything I wanted in the 680.

Great phone - small drawbacks |
I was a 600 and a 650 user since day 1. I've been drooling over the 750 since last year when it was announced. On release day I actually drove 2 hours to get the first one in my area and have been VERY pleased with it.
I don't miss the Palm OS at all but it takes getting used to the fact that I have to keep closing out old programs.
Now for my big gripe - when I use my bluetooth headset and answer a call, the screen and keyboard unlocks automatically and doesn't re-lock when I hang up. This means that I have to manually press the end call button to lock my phone after I use my "hands free" headset or my phone will start dialing random numbers as it moves around in its case or my pocket.
This isn't a large enough setback to really get me going, but come on, how could they not have seen that in the field during testing??
LOVE the phone!! Love the new bluetooth DUN and USB DUN!! LOVE UMTS!!!! This is what the 650 should have been.

Best device for both Palm usage and Mobile 5 |
Works fine,
Too bad of WiFi and SD card, but that can be overcome.

No Wifi |
This would have been a great device. The decision to make it thinner was a mistake. I like the size of my 650. Keep it thicker, give it a better battery. Add Wifi kids. It is inexcusable to not have wifi these days. Keep the full sized SD slot for the larger (8gb) SDHD cards. Palm has made some major mistakes with this device. I think my 650 might be my last Palm device.

Wheres the 750p? |
I have software for palm OS, and have no desire to switch to Windows Mobile. Besides, I'm a Mac user and the two don't mix well. I guess I'll have to settle for a 680.
