Had a 755p for 1 day then returned it |
HAPPY 650 user for over 2 years. Button placement & button color changes suck. My favorite loud ring tone is gone. Jawbone bluetooth wouldn't work. Bluetooth was very screwed up and caused many problems. It's cute, but I'll wait for something better.

Seems like a winner... |
I have owned three treos, the 650, 700wx, and now the 755p; not to mention a Palm Pilot, IIIe, and Vx. I tried for two weeks to adjust to life as a Windows Mobile 5.1 user, but one problem...TOO DAMNED MANY STYLUS PULLS AND STEPS! The same tasks on the 755 feel like they take about double or triple the time in WM5. The 700wx is a killer phone for sure with a nice set of apps, especially Windows Media 10, but I don't want to spend all day pecking for my email or trying to sort out unthreaded messaging. Palm wins hands down here, and with the sync with outlook capability, I don't think ill be leaving the Palm fold again soon.
For you "aged OS" haters, change for change's sake is seldom a good thing. The fact that palm and other programmers have been able to add functionality while leaving Garnet pretty well alone means Palm did it right to start. Don't fix what ain't broke!

Best Treo Ever |
I have had a treo since the launch of the 600. Palm took some time to make sure all the little buggy quirks that were in previous Treo's were taken care of. This is a welcome upgrade from my 650 and the EVDO makes surfing the net and downloading large attachments thru Chattermail nice. Everything I had on my 65O works without any problems. Haven't loaded Z launcher yet. It has only crashed when I was running PTunes with streaming music, and tried to sync my Chattermail at the same time. Make sure you have something to manage your internal memory like MTools or Rescue Explorer. Palm still has failed to address that. A larger battery is the only gripe. You will be charging this one every night! It can't get any better than the 755 without a new OS

Yes the blackberry is nice but it is no treo i had the 650 previously got the blackberry for navigation without having to buy extras well it wasn't worth it the phone didn't work well i couldn't talk on it there i was in the middle of raleigh and people couldn't hear me on my phone i am on a 8703e and thewheel on the side my thumb got so tired of scrolling like that and once you have used touch screen you are spoiled and the email receiving is annoying yup i set it up its like an annoying person calling you all the time look at me look at me i am a you got a time and place person and if you are important you are set to forward person i was going to try another blackberry for other features like an 8830 but by the time I called the company i was so fed up i just said i want treo 755 and when i did i got a cheaper data plan because also blackberrys have to have a special data plan like 40 or 50 dollars a month and whn my treo arrived i synced it it had my numbers my settings my apps my ringtones and some new apps and games and free tethering from my company and no problems with service my thunb is not sore no annoying mail problems i know the features it has i am not just guessing through some vague list of reveiws this has waht that one did with more fun stuff too i can access excel and then watch tv or listen to music

Fantastic |
I owned a Treo 600 (ugh), Motorola Q, and several other smart phones in between. This one is my favorite so far. Very sleek, everything works as promised.

battery life stinks |
Poor battery life, a clunky OS, a bluetooth nightmare, and no Wi-Fi, all for only $600. Using this thing reminds me of using a PC in the early 90s-- it kind of works, if you don't mind bugs, crashes, and spending a lot of time installing and uninstalling software. If you don't already have a smart phone, just know that half of the people you see using one are probably rebooting it or trying to figure out how to make it actually work. In the end, I think this thing actually costs me more time than it saves.

Treo 755p= PRICELESS |
Palm I think you are so close to my perfect phone/PDA. Smaller, dependable and mighty.

I love it |
I upgraded from a 650. I love the ActiveSync/Push ability. Also, on Sprint being able to use the Rev.A network data speed is remarkably improved. Having to buy a new MiniSD card (my old SD doesn't fit any more)was a minor inconvenience. I've had the phone two weeks and I'm pleased.
