MyBible by Laridian

MyBible is a fantastic Bible program for the Palm OS. It has such an excellent interface that it would be an excellent stand-alone DOC reader. The Find functionality is what makes this program really shine. I can have quick access to the wealth of information that the Bible has to offer faster than you can say Jehoshaphat. There is not currently a demo available for users to test the program, but Laridian says that one is forthcoming.

My ONLY complaint(s) are...
... a slight bit pricy, when I can buy a Bible with mroe resources for under $10, or use on-line versions of the same translations free- even the Franklin Bookman New International is only $19! ... It would be great to have Strongs Greek/Hebrew words available, or other reference materials- but that is probably silly to say right after the other comment! Otherwise- this is an excellent product!

Search function is awesome!
I now carry a pocket sized very readable Bible with me everywhere -even to the grocery store! I lead a small group with my spouse. Whenever someone mentions "it's in the Bible" - I can look it up immediately! I absolutely love it!

Excellent product!
I got MyBible just for fun, thinking it might supplement my hard copy Bible. I didn't take long for it to replace my old Bible. I use it much more than a hard copy, since I have it with me all the time. I have been able to find some scripture that I can only recall a few words of. I would highly recommend MyBible!

Super Fast searches compared to similar product
I have looked at two Bible Programs for the Palm. This one has a fast and simple user interface but the library choices good be a little larger. At the same time, what can you expect to squeeze into 8MB.

Great Bible Aid
This is a great aid for the busy pastor. If I am waiting to see someone in the hospital or on a plane with some spare moments, I can whip out the Visor and do some Bible study. In the future, I would like to see definitions of words for the New Testament. This would be a great help for the layman or Sunday School teacher.

Great for finding and feeding on the Word
This software is very easy and it does just what I want it to do. It gets to the passages I want quickly and its search function is the best way I've seen to find those verses I just can't remember.

Most Useful
Being able to read and traverse God's word on my handheld is priceless. I love this product. The software is easy to use, and excellent at doing searches. I would agree that boolean capabilities would be a bonus, but just the convenience of being able to carry the Bible with me in such a compact format is awesome.

Awsome
At first I didn't take the Palm platform seriously. But now with great applications like MyBible I don't know how I got by with one. MyBible is amazing. If you don't have a Handspring yet, and are looking for a convenient way to take the Bible with you get this software.
