Weighing in at only 0.35 ounces and measuring just 1.5 inches in length, the Z9 is also one of the smallest Bluetooth headsets on the market today. It can be clipped neatly onto a tie, shirt, blouse or cuff when not in use and comes equipped with a stylish, translucent ear-hook further reducing its presence when worn.

Awarded for its innovative design at CES 2007, the Z9 leads the next generation of Bluetooth headsets with its stylish design and use of dual microphone, noise reduction technology via BlueAnts patented Voice Isolation Technology, a revolutionary Digital Signal Processor (DSP) software solution.

Voice Isolation Technology uses sophisticated techniques to separate the voice signal from background noise up to 85dB, enhancing and isolating all frequencies that affect voices coming in to and out of the headset and resulting in noise suppression, wind noise reduction and echo cancellation.

In addition, the Z9 incorporates two Voice Isolation modes that a user can switch between when making a call Voice Isolation Standard for use in normal everyday environments providing a natural sounding voice while removing mild background noise and Voice Isolation Max to provide superior intelligible voice clarity for use in extreme noise environments.

Had lots of expectations...
I tried many headsets before this one. The amazing thing about this little piece of technology is that it integrates so beautifully with the Treo that there are never any disconnections or pairing lost... The size is absolutely awesome and the battery life very impressive. My only issue with it, and it is a major one, is that fact that appartently because of the noice cancellation algorithm used, very often I get complaints from people I am talking to about not being able to hear me clearly (cut out)! I upgraded the firmware and used it also on my wife's iPhone and it was the same issue. It's a crying shame because otherwise it would get a perfect Ten. Right now I wouldn't recommend buyting it. I would maybe try the new Z9i first before doing anything drastic.

Uncomfortable, low volume, and cheap
I can't believe these other reviewers. I've tried a BUNCH of Bluetooth headsets and this is one of the worst. It's cheap-feeling. I mean, come on, THREE earloops? There's a reason you need that many. These things are so thin and chintsy, they look like you could break them just by looking at them sideways. Plus, the volume is really low on it, despite maxing out both the phone and the headset. Then there is the ugly factor. I don't know about others, but the short, squatty nature of this headset just does nothing for me. Sound quality was just ok, but nothing to write home about.

Best headset I've ever used!!!
I agree, this headset is simply wonderful. I opened up the package and used it right out of the box- it wasn't complicated, and didn't need to be charged. I think the one button operation is not as bad as the treocentral review noted, althouth for a week I used it thinking it was working great, and then found out how to turn on "voice isolation max" and people said it removed all background noise from driving on a freeway at 80mhp in the rain- I was impressed. I was also impressed by the very small size of this headset, and I have found it very comfortable to wear for a long period of time- and the 2 year warranty is a great addition. Highly recommended- I'm sad I spent 2 years and $300 trying other headsets when I could have just purchased this and made my life easier.

Beats the Jawbone to death
I just got this and it is awesome. The customer support appears to be head and shoulders above the Jawbone, it's smaller and lighter than the jawbone, and thus far, it hasn't gone in and out of service every couple of seconds like my jawbone.
