Bullet Space Pen by Fisher Space Pen Co.

>> Read Review (Rating 5/5) <<

Conceived in a dream in July 1948, Paul Fisher was soon machining a new pen design shaped from solid aluminum. It became the first Fisher ball point pen, the Chrome Bullet Pen, and arguably the most popular pen of the twentieth century. The Bullet pen is now available with a stylus point on one end! You can truly write anywhere with the Bullet pen/stylus. Underwater, upside down, in space & on your PDA!

Cited as an outstanding example of industrial art, the classic design of the Fisher Bullet Pen has been exhibited for years in the New York Museum of Modern Art. The Bullet's timeless styling has been the topic of many art books and magazine articles. Often imitated but never duplicated.

Stylus broke off but warranty and the rest of pen is good
This pen is completely high quality stainless steel except for the stylus tip. I dropped it from 3 metres (I was on a ladder) and the stylus completely sheered off. I submitted for warranty and the pen was back at the shop within 5 days with a new lid. The company is very good with honoring their warranties. I asked them to replace with a normal cap because I figure a pen is only as strong as its weakest part, and the stylus is by far the weakest part. If the stylus is not vital to you, get the bullet pen without the stylus, and I recommend the silver one. It has a very nice grip which is etched out of the metal, but the black hasn't. The black has a rougher surface so they undoubtedly thought there was enough grip but its not as good as having the dedicated grip on the silver pen.

Wonderful!
I have carried a Fisher Bullet Pen in my pants pocket for years. 99% of the time, I forget it is there until I need a pen at the checkout stand, during an impromptu hallway meeting, etc. The Fisher Bullet Pen with the pressurized cartridge writes anywhere, on anything, anytime! Sometimes, all I have to write on is some pretty rotten stuff- napkins, plastic, slick cardstock, my hand- but the pen writes on all of it, even if it is wet or greasy. (This also makes it wonderful when I need to mark drilling holes and cutting lines on odd materials!) The addition of a stylus point makes this an even better pen- and the stylus is as nicely made as the rest of it!

Best. Stylus. Ever.
I love this stylus...I looked at many pen/styli combos, and most were "clickers" which I dislike, and others seemed dangerously sharp for a scratch prone screen. The bullet is excellent..the tip is so smooth and fluid on the screen, it looks great, and has a great pen too. Try it and you will like it.

Perfect, except
The stylus in the cap of pen came loose after dropping pen. Little super glue has fixed it. Except for that, pen and stylus work beautifully

Glides over the screen!
I need not mention how well the pen portion works on this badboy as I think it's pretty well known to be the best. I wanted to mention how smoothly the stylus glides over the screen. Sounds silly I know but it's true. I don't know if it's because the tip is softer or because it's a tad blunter or both but when the lid is on the pen it's the perfect size, weight and feel for a stylus in my opinion. This even writes nicer than my PDA Panache Chrome Nail (I also love this stylus though... and it fits in the silo)!

Not a Stylus user, but a space pen user
I don't know about the stylus, but the pen is perfect!

Great product and fits in Targus case
I just purchased this great pen/stylus for my Targus case which is too small for a standard pen. The combination pen/stylus is fantastic and convenient. The size would also work great in a pocket. I got mine on sale at a department store with 25% off.

Great pen and stylus
Does much better writing graffiti than any other stylus I've used. The pen is small, handy, dependable, and a great value.

Very functional, compact, and draws attention!
I am very impressed with the Space Pen Stylus. Very easy to write with, and the stylus works well, too. The chrome model gets a little scratched up from the cap, but that is a minor issue...

Incredibly well designed
I ordered a space pen stylus based on this review. I loved the space pen I had years ago in High School but never got around to getting another one. Having received it, I couldn't be happier. Just like the review says, it writes beautifully, the stylus is the best I have ever used, and it looks great. I couldn't believe how much the stylus helped improve the Graffiti recognition and how smoothly it moves over the screen (even over my WriteRight). I only wish Fisher didn't make them so hard to find! The best purchase I have made for my Visor Deluxe to date!
