Palm Cradle for Centro from
TreoCentral Store

Palm Cradle for Centro by Palm, Inc

>> Read Review (Rating 2/5) <<

You have two charging options:

1) Use the USB cable that is included with this cradle to charge and/or synchronize to your computer.

2) Plug in a Treo wall charger (see related products below) into the port on the back of the cradle (perfect for charging at night table).

Thumbs Up

Decent value for price
The snugness issue resolves itself in a few weeks of use. That is, the connection loosens up enough that it's no longer a problem. As for the lack of a HotSync button, you can either assign HotSync to a button on your Centro or just access it via the application menu with one-hand. I created a Favorites category and put it there. I bought my cradle for a steep discount on Amazon. Hunt around for the best deal, because the one I found was about $15, which is $5 less than the rest. At that price, the Palm cradle provides decent value. I have no regrets.

I agree, much too tight
I bought this cradle and felt the same way as Joe did and no sync button? C'mon Palm!

Only if you don't hotsync and use a skin tight case
Cradle is definately poorly designed piece of junk, but it is functional if you happen to have a skin tight case on the phone. Then removal and attachment are baby smooth. I'll wager you could put felt on the bottom to duplicate the same effect without a case. Since there are a fair number of users who don't regularly sync their phones and some who don't even understand the concept, their is a market for it. But for most people who read this site I think this is going to be a bad choice. Centro works just fine in the treo case by the way, just looks a little bit too small but it isn't bad.
