Leather Pouch for Handspring by Vaja

>> Read Review (Rating 4/5) <<

The Vaja case is a professional-looking case that you won't be afraid to have clipped to your belt in almost any situation. It's made very well, and looks like it will last a long time and protect your Treo against daily wear and tear. It just doesn't feel especially Treo-specific in that it seems to ignore some design elements of the Treo like it's purposefully top-mounted sound switch and signal indicator.

At $49.90 US, it's not especially cheap, either. But all that quality comes at a cost, and somehow I think that the target buyer for this case (that executive I mentioned) won't mind all that much.

snap wears badly
Tried a few cases, including this one, and was not very satisfied with the usability. Not only do you have to pull the treo out whenever you want to use it, but the snap button starts to wear out a few weeks after using it, making it possible for the treo to drop out frequently when the top springs open inadvertently. Nice leather & look, but not really made for serious use.

The nub-style belt clip is awful
I love the leather quality, the feel of this case and the design of it, but I truly hates the nub-style belt clip: It ruins this case. It is too balky and awkward. It dangles and spins around too much. If this company would use a tighter belt clip I'd recommend this case with a smile!

Poor design coverd up with good looks
Go for the functional design of the Teski leather case.

Why a pouch?
I don't understand the use of the pouch as it would spoil one of the best features of the Treo: being able to see thru the cover who's calling you or what time it is! And Treo is so small and light that it fits very well in your pocket (including trousers')

Thumbs Up

Generally it's a nice looking case that provides good protection over the entire Treo.

Excellent Price
$49.99 is an excellent price for a quality case. However, I worry about usability. How quickly can you take out your Treo when a call comes in?
