This week there have been a number of stories of note:
Trend: 26% of adult Americans get news via mobile
According to survey results released by Pew Research, the mobile web is the source of news for a quarter of the adult population in America. The topics of interest include: weather reports (72%), headlines and current events (68%) sports (44%) traffic (35%) and financial information (32%). Pew Research also noted that 49% of the mobile news consumers used an app to access the information while 31% received new alerts via text or email.
