Treo 600 available for Cingular

Sun Nov 2, 2003 - 10:33 PM EST - By Marcus Adolfsson

Handspring is now taking pre-orders for the GSM version of the Treo 600 with Cingular service. They expect to begin processing orders on November 17, 2003.

With new service activation, the Treo 600 sells for $449. A $399 upgrade offer for existing Treo owners is available until November 24, 2003.

The phone is not sim-locked to Cingular, so the phone can be used with any service provider.

What about T-Mobile and AT&T?

Handspring claims that they "expect service from AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile to be available soon." Our sources are mum on the subject.
