Some trouble...mostly great
As I am an avid Palm user [everything since the PalmProfessional] I was stoked to finally combine my phone and PDA. Since I am not quite as happy as before with dedicated PDAs. Overall I would recommend but a word to the wise...DO NOT FORGET TO SYNC OFTEN!!! And if you are like me and love taking pictures of your kids this is especially true. I have since set the Treo to save to SD Card only to avoid loosing pics. At least if I have to doa hard reset I can take out the card before and not loose any pics. All the rest of the info can be replaced and I would not lose sleep but losing even ONE pic for me is unacceptable. As will all Palms that I have used I am overjoyed at the sheer amount of FREE programs available. This is truly what keeps the fan base up for Palm...dedicated users that believe that being productive and enjoying your device should not break the bank. I am looking forward to using the new 700p in the future [sad that Palm felt they had to release a version with the attrocious Win Mobile OS].

Stylus design flaw
Love the phone... the Sylus started to fall out after 2 months. No replacement stylus will fit either. Dissapointed in the Stylus design.

I really like my new treo 650
I researched it alot before I bought it and was kinda scared of some bad reviews, but I have no complaints after my first week! I have had no dropped calls, and all the functions are easy to use.

I love mine
The Treo is completely safisfying as a phone and a mobile "task master", (almost like having a wife on the go! I wish there i knew where to find more business software for it. And I wonder if it can do voice memos someway?

Thumbs Down

Amazing let down, dont believe the hype!
It was my understanding that this phone was the next great thing in cell phone technology, HOWEVER...if on the phone, and need to do any other option on the phone, be prepaired for a reboot!! Awful phone, awful options, awful OS, just plain awful!

Thumbs Down

It has issues
Inaccurate keypad makes one handed dialing very difficult. Memory card pops out too easily. Phone locks up constantly. Email and documents-to-go causes resets. Far too expensive.

Volume Issues
every other phone on the market has nothing compared to the 650. It does everything and you can put some cool extra software on it. ONE THING: The speaker is shit - you have to pay $30 or more to download a program called volumecare otherwise the speaker is far too quiet to use downtown.I think palm should pay for the volumecare program because its so quiet that its ridiculous

Great phone, but ...
Feels slippery in my hands. A bit annoying but can be solved with an investment in a case or skin.
