Would you recommend Motorola HS 850 Headset ?

poor volume...
Paired up just fine with my Motorola E680i (a slick feature-packed phone), but just like most here... the volume is too wimpy for mild to moderate background noise. Maybe they should market this with a hearing aid combo...

Doesn't work with my 700P
I bought my 700p and accessory pacakage from VZW and it was working good for 10 days, then all of a sudden it wouldn't connect. When I opened the boom, the Treo recognized a device but it couldn't be used. When I would make a call, I would have the head phone symbol in the top right corner but the sound came from my HANDset, not headset. Don't even get me started on the poor volume. I returned it and VZW said that it was not compatible with 700p. Got it Jabra BT350V. We'll see how this works.

Volume Sucks
This headset doesn't have the volume needed to work with the Treo. Looks cool, but it sucks!

Thumbs Down

This is a poor choice.
Speaker volume is poor. In any environment where there is medium to high levels of background noise (airport, airplane, busy street, restaurant, noisy office, etc.) one simply can not hear what the inbound caller is saying. It's a little better if you press the device against your hear, but that sort of defeats the purpose of a handsfree headset doesn't it?

Works great with the Tro 650
quick and easy setup with my treo 650. when answering, it links to the treo as fast as my treo bluetooth headset. Good quality sound, volume and no static or background noise.

Thumbs Down

I agree!
Not loud enough, not easy to connect and set up, static. Very difficult to hear in a moving car

Thumbs Down

NOT LOUD ENOUGH
Voice is too low, doesnt fit securely, no auto link when placing a call. Treo 650

Thumbs Down

WILL NOT SYNCH WITH A TRIO 7100I
DESPITE TRYING EVERYTHING (RIM AND MOTOROLA), THE NEXTEL BLACKBERRY 7100 BLUETOOTH WOULD NOT RECOGNIZE THE HS 850 HEAD SET. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
