Would you recommend Seidio Sync and Charge Cable w/button ?

    Yes   No

the retractible cable is too fragile
I'm on my 2nd cable in under a year, and this one recently stopped working too. I have the dual charging retractible for my phone and treo bluetooth headset. Neither of the charging pins make contact with the phone or headset anymore. THe wire is so thin, it must break inside, with no visible signs of damage. Even Seidio told me they would not recommend this product.

    cable too fragile
to make the spooling connector, they had to use too thin a cable. It's far too fragile for most uses unless you're REALLY careful with it. If you plan on using this for anything other than emergency use, get a thicker, more durable cable.

    Stopped working after 9 months
he cable stopped working after 9 month I certainly agree with the first comment. I purchased the "Seidio Retractable S&C Cable (w/Button) for Treo 650" from you 9 months ago. It has bee working fine until yesterday, when S&C Cable could not be used to recharge or sync my treo any more. It seems that the connectivity within the cable is somehow blocked. Because when I arrange the cable by hand in different ways, sometimes the treo recharging light (red) is on. But as soon as I put the cable down, the recharging stops. I took exetremely good care of this piece (I still have the original plastic bag shipped with this cable. And I put the cable back to the bag everytime the rechargin/sync is done). There is no noticable exterior demage or mark. The worst of all yet, when I emailed the treocentral, I was told the following: "Hello This item may still be within the Seidio warranty period. You need to contact Cindel at Seidio using the following number: 832-204-1115 Patrick Frank, Smartphone Specialist ext 125 " But when I call 832-204-1115 and asking for Patrick Frank, the lady told me it is wrong number. Then I confirmed that they are Seidio. The lady told me that they only have 6month warranty. She suggested me to buy a new one from them. Well, I am not gonna be cheated again.

    quit working after 6 months
It was great while it lasted, but suddenly on a trip, it quit working - no longer made a connection when connected to the Treo. My original Palm charger still worked, as did the Palm travel charger I bought to replace this one. Both Treo and Seidio item had not been mistreated in any way. Frustrating.
