Great phone and OS |
I switched to the Treo 700p from a windoze mobile phone after I changed services. This phone is so much better, I wish I wouldn't have wasted the money buying that phone and having the terrible service. The phone has tons of great apps, I get great service and clarity, fast internet, and looks nice overall. I'll take Palm over WM any-day. Yeah, the phone may reset every once in awhile, don't computers freeze too? It takes like what 15 to 20 seconds to boot back up? That's no problem. I haven't had any problems at all with my phone. Highly recommended. The price may be a little high, but when it comes to electronics and such, most of the time you get what you pay for...

GOD MUST HATE PALM |
This phone totally blows, I don't know why I spent $600 on the damn thing when I could've kept my old phone (not going to say what it is but it's black and it reminds me of berries. When a company makes a new phone isn't it supposed to be better and not worse? Someone should call Palm and tell them to fire their design team. My 3 year old daughter can probably make a better phone.

Not worth the box it comes in |
I don't understand why technology and functionality can't co-exist as one. I bought this phone and almost immediately I began having issues with the bluetooth sync. After a couple of hard and soft resets I took it back to the store and got a replacement. That very same day the phone froze on me, and ever since I've had to reset constantly, in fact today I was on the phone and it decided that it would restart itself. This phone truly is a piece of tech. garbage. Palm has a long way to go. For shame!

Upgrade worth it for High Speed Internet! |
I have had series of Treo's and upgraded to 700P a few weeks ago. Costs using Sprint much higher, but worth it due to high speed data service. Would recommend for this solely. Otherwise, much better and less expensive to stay with 650 where data service, text message, Sprint Photo Service and more are for free.

I loved my 600, and this is just a mess. I would like an upgrade on the firm ware or I am going to windows.

I just got it today and already had a crash |
I'm really disappointed. Within a few hours of activating my Sprint 700P it froze while going through the process of setting up Sprint's internet access. I couldn't believe that I had to do a soft reset already.
I was also disappoint in the lack of phone features of which there were so many on my S/O's KRZR K1m.
I had used a Sony ClieNX73 for several years and loved it. I thought that I would get the great features of the Clie and a sophisticated phone in the 700P. Not so much:(
