To create applications in CASL, you take variables, objects, and functions to create powerful and flexible applications.
Are you ready to get started? If so, start by downloading CASL from this page. To help you get started, please see the Introduction to CASL e-book (included in the download). It provides a good introduction on the installation of the product and how to create your first application. The CASL Download is free for non-commercial use (hobbyists / freeware authors). Thank you for trying CASL!
The CASL Download is ~6MB. If you will be using CASL to create stand-alone PalmOS applications, please review the installation procedure in the Intro to CASL e-book (included in this download), you will need the CASL Components (~21MB).
As a former user of CASL, I have written one freeware program for the Palm platform with CASL. I then rewrote that application in a fraction of the time using PDA Toolbox Pro.
I really like this so far. I plan on registering.
CASL is the castle of all PDA RAD programs.
I've already used two other Palm RAD programs. They're actually good, but CASL is the best.
Great cross-platform product.
I have been using CASL for a number of years, and the ability to code once, and then compile for Palm or Pocket PC / Windows Mobile is fantastic. Apps can be written quickly and with a shorter learning curve than other environments.
