Hated IT
I bought this piece of crap off ebay. I dont hate the phone,it was ok. It just that i couldnt get it activated over the phone so i had to march on down to the sprint store. I just happen to get lucky that time. I was unable to get on the web so i gave the phone away. The vision service was the main reason i wanted a treo. The person i gave it to couldnt even get it activated because the sprint reps in the store couldnt figure the thing out. SO of course it was given back to me,now im stuck with this paper weight. So im just gonna buy a phone directly from sprint. Maybe one day ill get over my cheapness and buy me an up to date treo from sprint.

LOVING IT
As a sales person always on the go, i LOVE the Treo 300! I have all my contacts, phone, calculator, notes, calendar right on hand! I am able to be more productive and know where I will need to be next. PLUS the HTML webpages are GREAT! Being able to go to maps.yahoo.com and find directions instead of using WAP is a WONDERFUL feature also! Well worth EVERY penny!

No SMS Sprint should be ashamed
Other than no SMS which it says it does have this is a great combo. There are trade offs of course. But if you want a combo device that comes close to perfection this is it. Except for SMS. What were you thinking Sprint!!!

Great Device but needs more SW.
Handspring did a very good job of integrating the PDA with a Phone. However, the software package for the Treo 300 is too sparce to justify the $499 price. At that price it should come with full SMS (send/receive) support, a real email client (like SnapperMail), and a tabs based launcher. (Some of these issues may be caused by SprintPCS.)

Just short of perfect...
I just returned from my first road trip with the Treo as my sole resource for information/communication (instead of dragging along a laptop, cell phone, and PDA). WOW...unbelievable how versatile, efficient, easy to use, intuitive, fast, reliable, etc., etc., etc. Exceeded my expectations. Needs longer battery life. Speed of re-charge almost makes up for it, though.

All-in-One with Wonderful Product Design
I've had mine for about five months and now I couldn't live without it. It has all that I find critical and it was really put together nicely. I stopped using my Palm V, my Qualcomm phone, my AOL Mobile Communicator, and even my wrist watch.I take it everywhere and it does everything I ask of it. Highly recommended.
