More on the legacy of VisorCentral...

There were other websites that were dedicated to the general topic of Palm OS powered handhelds at that time. VisorCentral however, had the singular distinction of being specifically meant for just the Visor and it resulted in producing a much more tightly knit community of people. It had an ecstatic buzz of excitement focused on this one product. It is an excitement best described as thinking that anything is possible with this new toy and we're going to enjoy discovering what that anything is together. It was a very personable environment in which people tried their best to help each other in the forums by sharing their collective knowledge of using the Visor. It was an atmosphere that the other websites' generalized formats did not lend themselves to.
