This little guy is about 98% of greatness. Some issues with ActiveSync on the pc end. Way better thant he Palm OS!

Typical 1st generation device.
I am waiting for the 700W to be released in the UK, but after reading various reviews will carefully read through firmware update changelogs before spending any of my money on it. At this point I feel that it may be better to wait with trading my iPaq 2215 and Motorola V600 for a Treo, until the 2nd gen Windows Treo is released that is. :(

Treo 700 the leader of the pack
first purchased samsung i730; too akward to operate with one hand. not so with treo 700 easy to make calls on. wish it had built in wifi.

A Very nice device, Well layed out
Only two things I would complain about, 1. It locks up about once a week and I have soft reset. 2. The audio quality on the phone is not up to par. My Nextel is much better in this way.

windows users- rejoice!
As a single platform kind of guy, the treo 700W was a no-brainer. The learning curve was virtually non existant. All I wish for is more memory and better support for third party plug-ins etc.

Great Mobility Device
Had it since the day it came out. Awesome phone! never had any lock ups, runs great. E-Mail is awesome, sync is cake, easy to use the speed dial. Typing can be tricky but isnt it on all cell phones? I think Palm users need to stop bitching and realize the power Microsoft holds for the futre of Palm, especially with Blackberry facing what its up against.

Support is bad Verizon CS says call Palm
Can not intercrate with Palm OS to transfer data to 700W Have used Palm for 3 years so I have lots on info to transfer. I returned the Treo to Verizon

Thumbs Down

Wait for the 700p
As a graphic designer and a avid mac user this phone is worthless to me and my entire building who also use macs. What a waste of plastic.
